Well, it's all well and good to warn us of the need to aid our "normie" friends, relatives, etc. in "processing what's happening" as all the West's chickens/war hawks come home to roost, but....

....surely, there must be something that those of us who stayed out of debt and frugally 'nursed' our retirement nest egg, can do to, at least, minimize the negative impact (for ourselves & children) of "The End of the World As We Know It"?

I've been reading and understanding the reality of what you describe for nearly two years now, and despite searching - have yet to find even one suggestion for any kind of plan (with the exception of full on 'doomer' prep/bunker buying) which might be achievable by those of us with advanced warning of the coming war and probable effects.

I've actually come to the point of wishing there were some way that I could convince my husband that we and our daughter should emigrate to Russia.

My one caveat to your clear exposition is that the Chinese internal debt and welfare obligations are very far from insignificant!
